The key objectives of this are:

Promoting access to decent work in the formal economy, with particular emphasis on expanding opportunities for youth and women.

Supporting improved livelihoods and resilience in the informal economy through practical, market-linked interventions that strengthen sustainability and income generation.

Geographic prioritisation, primary preference will be given to coal belt communities or areas with strong socio-economic linkages to coal value chains, and secondary preference given to national-level initiatives.
